Relaxing getaway Positive: The property was clean, homely and relaxing. The beds were comfortable, fire was lovely, great heating and cooling, deck and garden was beautiful with many native birds. So close to spectacular beach. Negative: Nothing

Would be great if the heating and guest amenities - tea/coffee milk etc could be there. Positive: The house was clean and has limited basics. Good location and great garden. Negative: This house is obviously set up for summer use. This weekend was quite cold. We had chosen to bring firewood, but if you didn’t then the house would be uncomfortably cold. There are no curtains on the living room windows (single pane glass) and cold air just pours through the windows. The down stairs aircon/heating unit needs to be fixed (it’s listed in the guide as not working) and the alternative a small space heater struggles to heat the rooms. Would recommend additional blankets on beds and couch throws. Shower requires grouting at the base.

Comfortable quiet property, very clean. Awkward car access, especially if heavy cases or disabled. Need indication as where to park, and which bridge to use. Poor TV reception, only channels 3 and 10. NO microwave.No wifi. No upstairs toilet for upstairs bedrooms. Electric cooktop very slow; need kettle.Great food options within walking distance, especially genuine French restaurant "Le Comptoire".
